Bully! Concepts and fun stuff

Hey Gang. I've recently become a father so it's been a while since I posted some new artwork. Here are a few things I've done at work and some small stuff I worked on while on paternity leave. The ship and the castle are concepts for a game we're working on at Bully! Entertainment and the character lineup is for a book I'm planning with Dann Beeson. The superman is a quick color pass on the sketch I did a while back.

New Comic and Superman Drawing

Here are some recent projects I've been working on. I won't say much about the story for the comic until I post a few more pages and drawing but I'm very excited about it.

Animation Background

Here's an animation background that I made for Dann Beeson's cartoon called Monster Champs. I've also added a rough animation that Dann put together to show how the background will animate.

Here's another project I've been working on in my spare time. This project is called "The Zone". I plan to continue working on it between projects so it may take a while to finish, but I would like complete this as a full graphic novel. The story has no dialog and is expressed solely though visuals. Think Arzach meets Shadow of the Colossus. The main character, Kay, is wandering through a strange planet. Her goals and motive become more established as the story progresses. The story really takes off when she encounters a large barrier that seals off a portion of the world. Beyond the barrier is called The Zone. Inside are bizarre landscapes and creatures that Kay must travel through to reach her destination and goal. As she travels through the Zone, we learn more about Kay and what she hopes to accomplish.

It's been too long since my last post. Control Issue 1 is out and we're talking about the next few issues. Between Control and work, I've also been putting together a few small projects on my own. Here's a revisit to my old project the Daydream Detectives.
